Based in Manhattan, New York Real Estate Partners LLC is comprised of a varied group of individuals with over fifteen years of collective experience. We continue to bring our partners and investors the highest return possible for their investment through the assemblage, development, construction, management and marketing of unimproved or underutilized properties. Our fiduciary responsibilities to our investors are performed with discipline, care and professionalism. Our investment horizon ranges from the short term objective of developing and selling to the long term objective of acquiring and holding assets in numerous areas throughout the Tri State area with a specific focus in New York City.
Managing Partner and Founder, Richard Shiu, is a graduate of Bucknell University with a double major in Finance and Economics. He began his career as an equities trader for JP Morgan. Culminating his career on Wall Street he later left his post as New York’s Head of Trading for Hagströmer & Qviberg, a Scandinavian investment bank, to start New York Real Estate Partners LLC.

Project Development
Through the formation of a qualified team, and an understanding of the challenges both architecturally and legal, we provide a concise strategy to successfully begin the project and carry it to the next level. Closely managing every project and collaborating with our architects, engineers and design consultants, we comprehend our target end user and coordinate the designs accordingly. Our preparation of the contract documents, management of the bidding process, bid analysis and contractor selection ensure a proper transition from start to finish.
Project Management
We oversee the development and proper implementation of an architectural design into a completed New York Real Estate Partners’ project. Through our daily interaction we supervise subcontractors, the on-site delivery of materials, and various coordination between the trades and our designers. New York Real Estate Partners’ financial interests are protected by the carefully monitoring of work in progress and submittals, ensuring an adherence to contract documents and architectural standards
Asset Management
New York Real Estate Partners manages a variety of residential assets throughout New York City. We are committed to providing professional, courteous, and most importantly, responsive service to the occupants of the buildings we manage. Our goal of maintaining our assets in their peak condition ensure fiscal longevity to fund ongoing projects.
